Here's my annual "songs of the year" playlist. Commentary is at Good Letters, which is now being published by Patheos.
A few other things:
1. Yes, that is the actual title of #7.
2. If you want to think of me as hipper than I actually am, consider starting with "The House that Heaven Built" rather than "Home." They both fit the theme really well, but the Japandroids track is way cooler than a song by a guy named Phillip Phillips (really) who is apparently from American Idol.
3. Please get in touch if you'd like a copy.

Boo to number 1. It's a good song but also such a blatant ripoff of Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes that it deserves to pass beyond memory.
At least give me credit for admitting it! PS I tried to send you the link but I'm not sure if I had your email right.
I got the email so you have the address right.
Credit given. I read and commented on this post before reading the other one.
And as I said, taken alone it's a good song and I don't turn it off when it comes on.
Looking forward to going through the playlist.
