Songs from 2011 (finally)

Each year, I do a thing on songs I've liked or that have stuck with me from the previous year (See 2008, 2009, and 2010). I don't listen to a lot of new music, so I try to only pick things that have really gotten ahold of me -- I don't consider it a "best of" or to be related to "music criticism."


Anyhoo, I finally got around to putting the list together though I wrote the commentary back in December -- which you can see here. (As usual the list is fleshed out a bit after the commentary. "90's Kids," "You Can Depend on Me," and "No Surprises" were added later.)
