Weird things

I am sitting in a coffee shop (I am pretty sure it is one of those hip Christian coffee shops) in Spokane, Washington, where I lived from ages 6 to 18. I rode my bike here. The sun is shining and I am working. I am self-employed as a writer. I am working on articles about all kinds of bands I have heard of and never heard. Pedro the Lion's "Priests and Paramedics" is playing, and instead of depressing me, it is making me feel better.

Currently listening to: Bill Malonee and Vigilantes of Love, Huckleberry Flint, Bobby Bare, Jr. Have I gone a little bit country?

Just a little reminder about some stuff coming up in Washington:

This Friday, the awesomest thing I can think of, A Capella Karaoke, is happening at the Alibi room in Seattle. You sing along to your iPod in front of a crowd of horrified strangers.

If you want to camp in the San Juans for a few days, Woodsong Festival (website not updated) is the weekend of July 20.
