The Stranger runs what could have been an interesting feature -- 30 writers visit 30 churches. (Dan Savage went to my (old) church. Wish I'd been there to say hey!) I'll spare you reading it, because it's like almost every other "undercover" alt-weekly feature on churches: "Dude! Isn't it crazy that I'm atheist/agnostic/gay/Jewish/whatever and I'm at a church?? Also, these people are crazy! If they only knew I was atheist/agnostic/gay/Jewish they would be so shocked and they'd totally hate me!"
One sighs, and one remembers not to say anything mean, both because one believes one's God would not have it, and also because one writes for the Stranger.
