Karaoke week update:
Last night's venue was the Boiler Room in Eureka. Didn't feel as hospitable as the (brace yourself) Firewater Lounge. One highlight was a man who was either on drugs or developmentally disabled performing "Like a Virgin, " which basically sounded like this : "LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....VUUUUHHHHH.......TIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Tonight is the Blue Lake Casino, which is supposed to be the biggest night of the week.
