Casey Neill just released his album Brooklyn Bridge, featuring members of the Decemberists, among others. Great classic pop stuff, influenced by Irish pub brawls and 80's indie rock. Just got the CD today so wasn't able to do a preview for the TS.
Humboldt County residents can check him out in Briceland (near Garberville, CA) tonight at Beginnings, and tomorrow in Ukiah at Clay Street House Concerts. May 6 in Santa Cruz, but that is beyond my purview -- it's just regular old "Northern" California. North of Santa Rosa is where it's (usually not) at!
