Unstuck

unstuck (download mp3)
performed by Biltus
RIP K.V.

So it goes

The pilgrim has come unstuck

Just a violet light and a hum and no one

On the way

He fell asleep on the train

But he had to stand up and hold the cross brace

In the cold snow

Feel the wind blow as the hobo dies

This ain’t that bad

Every creature and plant

They each are nothing more than a machine

Tall and weak and often not one to speak

But in New York he told all his secrets

At the zoo the saucer men took him to

He and Wildhack had a home away from home

In the cold snow

Feel the wind blow as the hobo dies

This ain’t that bad

Every creature and plant

They each are nothing more than a machine

Wars are fought not by men as they ought

But by babies trained to KILL!

Everything was beautiful again

And he felt like nothing hurt

I really like this Biltus song.

I wrote a song about coming unstuck in time, too, also inspired by Slaughterhouse Five. It's A Tralfamadorian Carol.

Farewell, hello. Farewell, hello.

I am glad I discovered his work at least the last year he was alive.
