Publishing-wise, I got nothin'. At all. Other news:
John K. Samson "won" Canada Reads for the second year running with another book that sounds like a Weakerthans song title: Lullabies for Little Criminals. I enjoyed last year's book, A Complicated Kindness, although I am not Canadian at all. He'll also be a guest on the final night of CBC's Radio 3 broadcast.
You can download a really weird and maybe good Christian f**** f*** record by the Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus here.

Joel, you're almost as Canadian as I am! OK, maybe not, but I wasn't aware of this Canada Reads thing, so I think I'll check it out. I have heard a lot about A Complicated Kindness, but haven't read it. Miriam Toews grew up Canadian Mennonite, like me, but in a much more conservative community than I did so I can't say I'd be able to relate to her experience. I'd like to read it anyway someday. I have a long list of books before it though...
