Watch out, because the world is going to explode

So the Apples in Stereo are wrapping a record for 2007 relase, and according to Robert Schneider it is the "poppiest Apples record ever*, a futuristic production somewhere between Fun Trick Noisemaker [first Apples LP] and The Electric Light Orchestra [popular 70's group known for lush orchestration and sci-fi subjectmatter]."

Um...did he even hear Velocity of Sound? Because that was already, officially, THE poppiest record EVER made up until now. I can only assume that this new album will just be a shrink-wrapped stick of cotton candy that you shove directly into the center of your brain.
