Writing Happenings? Decided to put Bandoppler involvelment on hold; am taking a hiatus from Times-Standard while I finish the semester of grad school; still have an essay about Seven Day Jesus in limbo at Killing the Buddha; just wrote four reviews for Sacramento News & Review.

Music Happenings? Smoosh signs to Barsuk -- they are not just cute anymore, they are 100% good, listen to "Find A Way"; Mates of State video; Cex is playing Eureka in June (???); Dandelion Method show in Seattle is possible/probable for June (you better show up, more details soon).

On my CD player/mp3 Player now? Grandaddy, Just Like the Fambly Cat; Danielson, Ships; Unwed Sailor, Circles; The Weakerthans, Reconstruction Site & Left and Leaving.

Future Plans? Hard to say. Peace Corps is not happening, for the time being. Maybe China in the fall. More writing to come this summer.
