I find this almost unbearably sad. Doing research for my "Ashlee Simpson vs. Heart" piece, I came across The Ashlee Project, a website devoted to boosting a pop singer's self-esteem!
Ashlee, whenever you feel down, whenever people are giving you a hard time, we want this to be a place where you can come and be reminded of the great amount of support that exists for you from your many fans all over the world. We love you!
I don't even know how to begin talking about this.

is it possible for a millionaire pop princess who is marginally attractive to have low self-esteem? that's kind of like saying "i feel sorry for bill gates because -- despite his wealth, beautiful wife and ownership of the known world -- he has a bad haircut.
also, pelican is sweet; probably the best band on hydrahead...better than isis.
